SILLYON ANCIENT CITY

Sillyon Ancient City is a historical ruin located within the borders of Serik district of Antalya province in southern Turkey. It is approximately 10 kilometres away from Belek, one of the touristic regions of Antalya.

Sillyon is known as a Lycian city in antiquity and showed an impressive development especially in the Hellenistic period. It maintained its importance under the rule of the Roman Empire. The ruins of the city include the theatre, agora (market place), temples and city walls. Sillyon offers visitors a historical journey with its rich historical past and ancient architectural remains.
