FIRNAZ BAY

FIRNAZ BAY

Fırnaz Bay, located on the Lycian Way route and surrounded by steep slopes, is located 4 km. away from Kalkan, which is connected to Kaş. Located in Yeşilköy Town, the bay is also called 'Muar Kürü' or 'Mğar Kürü'. This paradise-looking bay, which is frequented by blue tour boats, is not accessible by road.

Fırnaz Bay resembles an aquarium with its clear waters where you can see all shades of blue. Since no facilities are allowed in the protected area, the bay promises its visitors peaceful moments alone with nature with its untouched nature and exquisite beauties that have survived to the present day.

The bay, which also has a small beach, is famous for its mud, which is believed to rejuvenate and be good for the skin. Tourists who visit the bay definitely spend fun hours here by taking mud baths. The olive trees around the bay add a pleasant visuality to the environment. In the region, there are traces of aqueducts thought to have been built to meet the water needs of Patara, one of the largest cities of the Lycian Period.

If you are planning a holiday in Kaş and Kalkan Regions, you can take a cool break in the turquoise waters of Fırnaz Bay by joining boat tours and forget about time in the middle of silence. If you are curious about the richness of the underwater world, you can dive into the depths of the Mediterranean Sea, swim with fish species you have never seen before, and add brand new experiences to your life.
